When posting pictures from Whistler over the weekend, I was thinking about how the world is completely full of beautiful scenery. No matter where you are, or where you live, there is beauty around you. One of my favorite parts about nature is that it is beautiful in different ways, in different parts of the world. It is wonderful to see pictures of different areas in all seasons. I love finding a sense of adventure through photos.
If you have a picture from where you are, or a place that you have traveled that means a lot to you I would love for you to send it in to share on the blog. You can email it to wendy @ givelovecreatehappiness . com (sorry for all the spaces so you can’t click the email, I have been getting a lot of automated emails. Apparently I have a lot of inheritance and prize money to claim around the world.)
It would be great to include the area the photo was taken, and the name you would like the photo accredited to. It can be a nickname if you are more comfortable with that. If you would like me to create a link to your blog or website you could include the link too. Please feel free to do this at any time down the road should you come across a photo you love. It would give me great pleasure to share the beauty of the world seen through your eyes.
Speaking of a beautiful world has anyone seen Disney’s Earth movie yet? If so, what do you think of it? I have been meaning to rent it for some time now. I am thinking it would be a good family movie. Planet Earth is another one I have not seen yet and would like to. What do you think about that one?
Besides beautiful photos, another thing I really appreciated was some of the artwork I saw at Whistler. There were many painting I absolutely loved. Isn’t it great when a photo or art can provoke emotions, especially happy ones! My son for one loves to do art projects, color, painting, stamps, cutting paper, you name it, and he loves it. For that reason I thought I would share with you one of my favorite products for kids, Color Wonders.
Doing other art projects are great, but I prefer to do them together because Big Brother is so young he needs a little more guidance with glue, scissors, and real markers and paint. The Color Wonders are fantastic to leave out because you don’t have to worry about what is going to happen to your house, or what kind of a cleanup the art will entail. I really should buy some stock in them. In case any of you are looking for something for your children, grandkids, nieces or nephews, I highly recommend giving them a try.
Where is a place you find beautiful?
