Interview 4 Inspiration is a new series I am very excited to share with you on Give Love Create Happiness.  Here you will find a series of questions answered by inspirational people.  People who have inspired me in one way or another, either through knowing them personally or through their work.   I believe people are the best sources of inspiration; therefore it gives me great pleasure to share a little more about them with you in a series of questions.

To start things off I’m thrilled to open up Interview 4 Inspiration with the lovely Tina Haupert of Carrots ‘N’ Cake.  Tina has turned her passion into a career.  She is living her dream, and in fact this weekend you can catch her traveling posts from Orlando Florida!
I am fortunate to call Tina a friend.  Not only were we in a sorority together (don’t laugh!), we were on Dance Team together (OK, you can laugh!).  It was awesome.  I definitely recall fondly our dance team days and pre-performance warm-ups, if you can call them that! ;-)

Tina resides in Boston with 2 adorable boys, her husband Mal, and pug Murphy.  As well as blogging full time for Carrots ‘N’ Cake, she also has a number of part time gigs, which you can find here.

Please welcome, Tina!

Name -Tina Haupert

Can you tell us a little bit about your background?  I'm a full-time blogger as well as a freelance writer. I love fitness, cooking (especially baking), and traveling.

What are you currently focusing your energy on in your life?  Marathon training, fundraising, and buying a house. I've been busy lately!

What does a typical day look like for you?  Wake up, feed Murphy, take Murphy for a walk, eat breakfast, blog, exercise, work, work, work, eat lunch, blog, walk Murphy, make dinner, blog, hang out with husband, bed!

What are your favorite family or solo activities?  Running, Body Pump, watching terrible reality TV, taking Murphy for walks.

When you hear the word happiness what is the first thing that comes to mind? Cupcakes.

What makes you beautiful?  My sense of humor. I love to laugh.

What was a favorite activity of yours as a child?  Drawing, painting, anything related to arts & crafts.

If you could get paid to do anything what would it be?  Blog, eat, and travel the world!

What is one area of your life you would like to improve?  Work-life balance. I have none.

What is one responsibility you would love for someone else to take over?  Hmm... Walking Murphy in the rain? :)

Celebrating in life can bring so much joy!  Do you have a favorite holiday you celebrate? I love Thanksgiving. Obviously, the food is a highlight, but I love being home with family and old friends.

Picture
What favorite tradition have you passed down to your children (pug)? My love for peanut butter and cheese! ;)

What is one life lesson you have learned and would like to share with others?  Fake it until you make it!

How can others best give you support?  By being honest with me. This is why I love my husband so much. He never sugar-coats the truth with me.

Thank you Tina for sharing!

Have a good Friday, and weekend!

Great interview, I find it awesome that the two of you were in a sorotity and on the dance team, too! Tina is an inspiration and she works so incredibly hard to entertain all of us! I think she should take a little break and so some arts and crafts. Maybe make a collage with pictures of Murphy?
I can't wait to see who you interview next!
