How was your Holiday? I’m not going to lie, I’m friggin exhausted which is another way of saying we are very blessed!

Christmas morning. Can you say late night for Mom and Dad, and a little girl who didn’t want to sleep?!
As a matter of fact I am even sitting in bed while I write this using a gift my husband gave me...more to come on that later.
Honestly, I don’t think there is much better in life than seeing your children’s faces with the look of extreme excitement and happiness. It certainly made me feel like I was on Santa’s magic list.
Could you tell I was stressed out with all the Holiday prep when I wrote the last post on meditation? It was a long week of late nights. I managed to incorporate meditation into my life for a whole 2 days in a row :0) Along came the 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th and I don’t know where my commitment to 10 minutes of meditation per day went?
Fortunately, I have you guys in my life and I feel like I should be held accountable to my words. I really do want to give mediation a real shot and report back if I find it makes a notable difference in my life. Tomorrow it is back to a full ten minutes with my cell phone alarm set!
Right before I sat down to write this I was downloading 100 MILLION pictures that I took, no seriously! I got a little overwhelmed so I promise to sort through them soon and share some special moments.
One last note before I hit the hay, I really love how we allow our worlds to slow down the week between Christmas and New Years. I wish you many slow and peaceful moments this week! I am going to try and take it slow as much as I possibly can. This week my beautiful little girl turns 2 so I still have some planning to do.
Do any of you have birthdays around the holidays or loved ones that do? What are some of your favorite things about it? I would really love to share with my daughter all the positive things about her December birthday as she grows up. Thank you for your help!
