It isn’t about if, it’s about when!

When will you make the changes you feel stirring inside your heart?  Even little changes, one inch at a time. Don’t be overwhelmed by the big picture. One breath, one step at a time.

Get rid of one food you no longer want to eat. Set aside 10 minutes to exercise. Yes, 10 minutes leads to more but for today one step = 10 minutes. Focus on 1 step.

Spend 20 minutes doing whatever you want! Whatever you are passionate about. You will feel alive!

Give your loved ones just a couple of minutes of your undivided attention. 5 minutes of love is better than none! It is step one.

Put your work down. Go out your door. Take 10 deep breaths of outdoor air. You are a vital part of that giant universe you see! Isn’t that incredible!?

Sometimes when you think big, when you look too far ahead, you get overwhelmed and freeze up. Get unstuck by taking one step. Focusing on one thing. What change matters most to you today? What itty bitty step can you take to feel good and head that way?

Think of all the great miracles nature achieves so slowly, one moment at a time.

"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” ~Laozi

Make this your season to feel alive! You CAN do anything!

Wendy I LOVE your blogs. I actually forward a number of them to Daniel. You have got so many of life's issues and challenges identified and you write about them with very "doable" solutions and strategies to help us ALL move forward. I would love to have had you as a work colleague of mine when I was working on so many of the issues you identify...yours focusing more on "Moms" and mine focusing on youth searching for careers.....same stuff!!!!

This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by Henry Ford, Whether you think you can or can’t…you are right.

I have to remind myself I can do lots of things every day. I (try to) think every mother gets to a point when it feels overwhelmed. I know all i have to do is take a couple of seconds to breath ans start all over again, somehow I fail at listening to my won advice :(

@Roxana,

I completely understand what you mean. Doing is always harder but I like to think identifying is the first step in the right direction. Breathing really helps me too. I definitely get overwhelmed sometimes. Have a wonderful day :)
