Decisions. Decisions. Decisions! We all have to make them, but sometimes they can be pretty darn difficult. Do you have an important decision to make? Are you wondering how you can find the answer? Do you feel stuck in
limbo unsure what to do?

Success requires taking ACTION! You can’t take action until you’ve made a decision about what to do. In today’s video I talk about how to search for and figure out the answer that is right for you.

Hi Wendy :)

You bring up a fascinating topic. Should we make choices based on our rational or our heart? In those lucky cases they completely align the decision is easy. But more often than not (at least for me) there seems to be some conflict between the two.

A few years ago, I was in the "follow your rational" camp. Which of course makes logical sense... to those who follow rational.

Over the past year of my life I have discovered a major flaw in the whole "follow your rational" approach. The driving force behind all of my actions is the desire to feel a particular emotion.

Why do I want to be a ninja? Because it is my dream. Why do I want to follow my dream? because deep down inside I believe If I follow this I will feel good.

These are all emotion driven situations. So to me, it makes sense that I use part of me that understands emotion: my heart.

I do think there are times when I need to eliminate my heart from the decision but when it comes to doing crazy a$$ sh-- I like to follow the heart.

Thanks so much for your great comment Izzy! I really liked how you said "The driving force behind all of my actions is the desire to feel a particular emotion." I've never thought of that before and it rings true for me too! No matter what happens in the end, when I follow my heart I feel like I gave things my best shot.

Hmmm. TOugh one - I think I've tried to make decisions from both places and have had success and failure with both type of decision-making. I think I'm trying to take it up a step and make decision from a divine place:) So from a place of contemplation and introspection.

But I think that you make a great point in that there can be no wrong decisions if you go from a place of your heart:) that's some wisdom right there.

Hi Vishnu! I know for me sometimes I just need to break it all down into a simple question I ask myself: What would love do? When I am able to answer that my decision feels like it is coming from a divine place.

I really enjoyed this video, Wendy; in particular the understanding that even when things may not work out the way you'd wished or hoped or envisioned, as long as you followed your heart, you will be comfortable in your decision, knowing you followed your heart. It's a good perspective.

Thank you very much, Kelly! :) For me personally, when I know I followed my heart I do a lot less second guessing of my decision and the outcome. If things don't work out the way I hoped I trust in the greater big picture, and choose to believe the greatest good will happen. I hope you have a wonderful week!
