The ‘to be’ list is a great way to stay aligned with what’s truly important to you. When you consider doing tasks, you can ask yourself: Is this helping me become more of the person I want to be, or taking away from it? Feeling heart-centered and aligned in your day to day life, is for me a great source of joy. It’s so easy to allow life to distract us, and the ‘to be’ list can help us stay focused on what’s important to us.
Your ‘to be’ list might look like:
more attentive parent
loving and supportive spouse
Whatever it is you wish to be write it down. There is magic in written words. Keep this list close by and remember to check it or update regularly and ask yourself, am I being the person I want to be? If not, how can I change that in the now or what steps can I take to move closer to becoming the highest version of myself?
