Homemade Sourdough Bagels
After my dough was thoroughly mixed and kneaded, it took about 20 hours of rising time. Followed by another 5 hours of rising in the bagel shape under a damp towel before I boiled and baked the sourdough bagels. I boiled the bagels in water with baking soda and brown sugar for approximately 30 seconds per side, then baked them at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes.
