Sharing the city you call home with the world is a lot of fun! It especially means a lot for me that my family and friends back east that have not made it out here yet get to see wonderful coverage on the area. I am hoping it will give them that little extra inspiration to get out here and visit!
There are lots of fun activities going on around the city that I hope to participate in. Hubby is at one as we speak. He is enjoying a Thuringian sausage and beer at the German Fan Fest located at 555 West Cordova Street in downtown Vancouver next to Steamworks. In case you are interested I came across a couple of websites with some information on events, some of them free.

For the locals and those visiting I would love to hear what events you are interested in or are attending?
Any great websites pertaining to the Olympics you want to share?
For everyone, what is your favorite winter Olympic event to watch?
Did you learn something interesting about Vancouver that you did not know?
Happy 1st 2010 Olympic Day Everyone!
