My daughter's sunflower is now much taller than her!
Hello friend,
Living in the city, we don't have a lot of land for gardening but we make the best of it. My daughter's sunflower is starting to bloom. It's so tall it makes us smile, way taller than we are.
We're growing and harvesting many different varieties of tomatoes. They're even hanging from the deck, waiting for us to bring out the old, faded-red apple orchard ladder to pick them.

Gardening in the City
We've made a couple of big batches of homemade salsa, and I have to say I love it so much more than store-bought salsa. Other than that there's really not too much new going on here. I'm starting to feel like I need to get some plaid on our dining table soon. More and more fall pictures are starting to trickle out on Instagram and I'm getting excited. I like to call September - December the Christmas half of the year. Thoughts of fall, candlelight, and coziness are warming my heart and mind.
