This has been such a lovely December for snow! We keep getting flurries and it feels so magical. I love being cozy inside preparing videos for you and baking, while watching the snowflakes flutter around outside the window. My little helper is as excited as I am. I found this old picture of her bouncing around with the cookies she decorated for Santa.

Last night we made my gingerbread recipe - Gingerbread Cookies Recipe - Soft, Chewy, Vegan and Gluten-Free!
FYI you can make this recipe using butter or vegan butter instead of oil, and wheat flour instead of gluten-free if you prefer. We made them with Earth Balance and an unbleached all-purpose flour this year and they came out great. It's a very versatile recipe, so go ahead and use your creative freedom. I think you'll love the combination of warm spices.
