How many seeds do you think are in this sunflower? If you look closely you can see a beautiful spiral pattern within the sunflower seeds. The spiral pattern expressed in the sunflower seeds can also be found in many other forms of nature, such as seashells and spiral galaxies. Fibonacci's sequence is often cited as the mathematical expression of this frequently repeated pattern. Do you know of any other natural examples of the pattern? Nature is awe-inspiring! Last year, my daughter's teacher gave her a small pot with a couple of sunflower seeds as an end-of-the-school-year gift. This one flower in particular grew bigger than any other. It's a great reminder of how, with a little love, nurturing, patience and divine timing, you can start with a small seed or an idea and manifest something big, bright and beautiful. It's incredible how many sunflowers can now grow from this one. Try to think of your life this way- getting exponentially more amazing!
