Hi there, blog friends!
I am putting this post up a little early because tomorrow is going to be a busy one, but I am really looking forward to the weekend being so close, so ever close!!
When we returned home not only was it hard to say goodbye to the beautiful and sunny state of Arizona, we also had to say goodbye to 2 wonderful neighbours. We were very fortunate to live next door to them for the last year and a half. If we ever needed anything we knew they would be right there to help, and that is truly special!
In addition to being very friendly and upbeat people, they were probably the best sharers ever! Always sharing their pressure washer with us whenever they were cleaning. I can only imagine how dirty our deck would be this spring had it not been for them!
Watching Hubby chase/run after Big Brother on his bike, they offered theirs. It has been a long time since we owned bikes. Living downtown, there wasn’t exactly a lot of room for bikes and at the time it wasn’t on the priority list with mainly pushing a stroller around. As our kids age I look forward to doing more and more activities with them.
One time after purchasing a new car, they even offered to let us borrow it if we wanted. We never took them up on that, but is that a good neighbour or what?! We are going to miss seeing them around, and hopefully it won’t be too long until we go and check out their new place. Big Brother misses seeing his favorite dog around too!
Having great neighbours is a very special thing, and taking a moment to reflect and appreciate that is important to me. You’ll be missed!
After our trip to Arizona, Grandma and Grandpa drove to Vancouver, and left from there to Paris! How awesome! They are going on a 5 month adventure that starts in France, then to Africa, back to France and then to India. It will be fun to get the updates, and if we are lucky maybe a guest post or 2! J
The first update we got was of their laid back dinner the first night in Paris after traveling.

“We are eating in our room! Grandpa has his little travel bag of chiltipines with him and other than that we have two kinds of cheeses, proscuitto, squid, pate, and a baguette. So yummy! Paris is beautiful and expensive and we love it!”
When in France, right?! Gotta love that dinner!! J
We look forward to seeing all that the trip brings.
Hope your Friday and weekend are beautiful, everyone!
See you soon!
Squid, love it or hate it?
