How was your weekend?
We had a good time. Saturday the weather was beautiful and we headed out for a day at the beach.
The kids really enjoyed digging in the sand. This is an activity that they could do for hours.

While at the beach if you get too hot there is always the option of dumping a bucket of water on yourself.
A fantastic way to cool down!

It ended up being a really good thing that we spent the day at the beach. Hubby got to practice his modeling skills.

He’s a natural really, but a little practice is always good!
We’re lucky because it is a great thing we can fall back on if times get tight.

After the beach I followed it up with some grocery shopping.
I think our house is full now!
There’s nothing like rockin out the grocery store on the busiest day of the week just to make sure it takes longer. A little tid bit of information for you I picked up on Trading Up Downtown – Wednesday is the best day to grocery shop. However, when I don’t grocery shop solo on the weekend this is more along the lines of what happens:

There’s nothing like rockin out the grocery store on the busiest day of the week just to make sure it takes longer. A little tid bit of information for you I picked up on Trading Up Downtown – Wednesday is the best day to grocery shop. While I was there I tried a sample of the VIA iced coffee. It was a little too sweet for my liking, but I wasn’t about to turn down free coffee!
OK gotta run now. My son is telling me it’s time to drink my green water. Don’t ask!
