From that time on Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Cookies have become a tradition in our family. Christmas is the only time of year I make this particular cookie and for that reason it is a special treat we look forward to. This year for the first time I was unable to locate this favorite recipe from Gourmet magazine. Should have scanned it! Lesson learned, but I did not want to go without making this cookie so I decided to give the Ocean Spray recipe a try.
The cookies came out more cake like than the thinner chewy version I usually make. It is all about personal preference here so depending on how you like your cookies this might be a recipe you would adore. They are still delicious but just not the same, so if any of you out there have the Gourmet magazine recipe please send it to me! It is several years old now so I don’t know what my chances are but I still believe in Christmas miracles ;-)
