When I can, I try to think about items I would like for my home for a while to allow me to better decide if it something think I would use often enough. Also, when it comes to items for my kitchen am I going to be able to fit it somewhere? Or is there something I can get rid that I no longer use or need to make room?
Brownies are probably my second favorite dessert, not that I have listed them out or anything. I totally have J! We are entertaining for a couple of days and I thought brownies would be a great easy dessert to whip up.
Whenever I make brownies I find they tend to crumble apart when you cut them. Especially when they are not overcooked. Part of my favorite part about baking is the presentation, which made the Perfect Brownie Pan appealing to me.
If you follow the link the l!vemercial is kind of funny.
Here are all the pieces.
Last minute I decided to place the pan on a baking sheet in case any leaked. I am glad I did because a little bit did leak out the bottom. You could also choose to line the pan with foil to prevent leakage.
I baked the brownies at 325 degrees F for 1 hour. Because the pan was so full they puffed up over the divider.
The great thing about this pan is after removing the divider while the brownies are still slightly warm, you place the pan on the rack and the side drops down. This way you could serve them right on the rack straight out of the oven if you wanted.
I can’t wait to try the pan for other recipes as well. The recipe book that came with it has some delicious looking ones.
