There were so many pieces
A puzzle much to overwhelming to complete
Different shapes
Different sizes
All vastly unique
Once it seemed like a solid mass
It never really was
Merely an illusion
There were times in her life when the pieces fell
Hit hard
Scattered far apart
Tears
The feeling she could never find them all again
Put it together?
That felt like a cruel joke!
Not to mention that one piece she just could NOT find!
Even though she was fairly certain it was somewhere in the house
The difference to this puzzle was a force
A magnet of sorts
Each time they scattered
Time drew together
That part
The one she continuously struggled to find
It collected weighty debris
Came back greater
Making an even larger heart
The pieces to her life were edged with glue
An incredible power
In the bond she could perpetually find all those who love her
The souls that forever hold a piece of her heart
Some near
Some far
Some old
Some new
Some here
Some not
Their love always completed her heart
