Like a big ball of sunshine
And her eyes as blue as the sky.
When I sit down to eat
She rests her hand on my knee
And says “Bite!”
She loves to laugh boldly
And whole heartedly at her brother’s jokes
Especially before the punch line.
She’s tall,
But her feet seem so small
And when she runs it’s a wonderful site!
Her head hunched forward,
With one arm out to the side
The other arm swings furiously as she powers around.
The static in her hair always gives me a giggle.
It grows long in the back,
Yet stays short in the front.
Her 2 year old molars came in at 1.
She loves to “help” clean,
When she’s not talking on the phone with everything in sight.
Sleeping is not her thing
But she makes up for it
With the love, hugs, and kisses that pour out.
When she kisses her baby
Her lips are curled tight.
The sweet MWAA noise always makes me melt.
She is my gift of happiness
Something I never want to live without.
