My leg muscles definitely get fatigued, often resulting in a good soreness the
next day, especially when going up and down the stairs. By sore I don’t mean anything too intense, more the sensation that they have been worked really well. Got to love squats for that!
My arms feel stronger and sometimes fatigued the next day as well. Both my
husband and I use hand weights for the upper body section. In fact, I’m thinking soon would be a good time to invest in a larger variety of weights for myself. My husband uses the Nautilus Adjustable Dumbbells and really likes those, but they do not work well for sharing when we workout together.
There are 2 Transform Your Body with Brooke Burke DVDs out: Tone & Tighten, and Strengthen & Condition. My husband and I both agree that the Strengthen & Condition DVD is our favorite. We walk away from that DVD feeling like we’ve worked hard. Therefore, we tend to use that DVD at least 2 of the 3 times per week.
The Strengthen & Condition DVD also features Brooke’s trainer Greg Joujon-Roche.
Brooke has such a lovely personality that shines through in the DVD. I agree
with the reviews that it is wonderful she does the entire series alongside you. She helps motivate you to keep going by example, and she gives you the feeling that you are working out with one of your best girlfriends.
On another note, the core sections of the DVDs are killer! Every time I look
down I keep thinking I’m going to see a six pack after how hard my abs worked. Anything is possible right? I have a feeling sticking with this DVD long term can lead to some pretty awesome results.
