I hope you are enjoying your start to a new week J. This weekend seemed like it flew by for me. Saturday afternoon and into the early evening I spent by myself. Daddy took care of the kids while I was off shopping for a new outfit.
My mission was to find one complete outfit; cloths, shoes, and accessories. It is for something special I will tell you about later. It has been forever since the last time I went shopping for a complete outfit. These days I don’t fit in a lot of cloths shopping. I mostly get things here and there if I see something for a good price. Usually the main times I buy new cloths are if I have a wedding to go to, or a special event that I need something for, and that doesn’t happen very often.
It was several hours by myself, and although I would have loved a second opinion from my Hubby, the alone time was nice. Plus the kids would have only lasted about 5 minutes of me trying on cloths. It took a while, but it was a successful trip.
The pants I ended up buying from the Bay. I have a hard time finding pants I like because now that I have had 2 beautiful children I feel more comfortable in pants that come up to my natural waist line, as opposed the lower cut ones it seems most pants are now. Finding pants with a higher rise, but are also a style I like is challenging.
The top I bought from a store I have never shopped in before called le chateau. For the first time shopping there it went really well. There were some cloths that were a gorgeous cobalt blue that caught my eye. Plus the 2 girls that were working there were extremely friendly and helpful. Don’t you love when that happens? It really makes the experience nice.
Sunday was a lot of fun for the whole family. We went to a wonderful friend’s birthday party, and had a blast! When we first arrived we noticed a Coca-Cola tent. It must be for the Olympics. I love how the tent said open happiness.
