This morning after getting everyone dressed, brushing teeth, and feeding the kids I am watching my house fall apart in front of my eyes as I try to get those last minute things packed. Organization is on my mind because my house is a mess! We haven’t left yet and there is a ton of laundry, so I think we are in for it when we get back.
It is totally worth it though! We are fortunate to have our home, cloths, and dishes to take care of. Trying to think positive as much as I can is important to me. With feeling a bit disorganized at the moment, along with my New Year’s goal to organize my home more this year. You know all those places most people don’t see, but add clutter to your life if you don’t stay on top of it? I truly believe less clutter means a more peaceful environment, and that is what I want for my family.
So for some motivation and inspiration for when we return home, and our very full car is unloaded all over the floor I was looking at Martha Stewart’s page called 100 Easy Organizers. There are organizational ideas broken down into each room. If you have some time you may want to take a look. There are lots of great ideas. The best part is the pictures so you can get inspired and hopefully turn dreaming into doing.
Just wanted to mention in case anyone is thinking about cooking brussel sprouts this weekend, my friend Jen from Healthy Laps posted another recipe that is more on the sweet side. I think a lot of people would like her version, kids too! The brown sugar probably really helps the bitterness.
For some great creative writing this weekend read teeny tales by Jessielynn on Thoughts Punctuated. They are AMAZING! Really I can’t say enough about how much I love them, and think you would enjoy reading. I still have the last one Twinkle, Twinkle in my head. Jessielynn also exposes you to a variety of tunes to get you through your work day.
Here is a tune I like to enhance your Friday: Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawk
