Vishnu, I wish our culture encouraged a big mid-day break too! Let's change that :)

Thank you very much, Julie! I feel so much better when I have my largest meal in the middle of the day. It can definitely be challenging with the day being busier, but the more I get used to stopping and doing it the happier I am and the better the results. Hugs back!

Thank you so much Julie! Actually, I've tried everything and nothing seemed to work. I was willing to try anything to alleviate my slow thyroid issues. As the doctor ordered, I tried the six meals a day, but that just seemed to make matters worse and there was no weight loss whatsoever!

In desperation, seeing that nothing else worked, I decided to go back to my Mediterranean roots and eat my big(healthy) meal at lunch just like my parents did. Well, a miracle happened!! My metabolism got revved up and I've been steadily loosing one pound a day on this satisfying and healthy way of eating. This could possibly be an important breakthrough in the fight against obesity and diabetes in this country!!

Leah, I am so happy to hear you are having success with it! That is great! Thank you for letting me know. It works well for me too. I think they're onto something in the Mediterranean. I love that we learn so much from them. Warm Wishes!

Lunch is kind of a big deal for me, since I eat most of my calories then (at least 50% but upwards to 80%). My other two meals are more like snacks. And I don't drink my calories, unless I view it as a snack. Never anything sugary. After flushing out the sugar in my body (thanks to a 2-week LCHF diet), so too went my sugar addiction. I hate the stuff, now. (The exception being fruit.)

Valerie, Isn't it amazing how much better you feel when you're not consuming so much sugar? Thanks for your comment. Have a great week!
